The sale is coming soon. Each Tuna Kitty will cost 3 KONA, with 1,927 available for purchase on Robinhood Chain. The NFT contract is not live yet. Follow @KonaDeFi for the opening announcement.
How do traits and names work?
This is a traditional PFP collection. Each NFT is named Tuna Kitty followed by its token number. Its traits are built into the Kitty artwork and recorded in its metadata. The artwork here shows trait studies, not assigned token IDs.
Can I mint more than one?
Yes. Choose your quantity to see the total at 3 KONA per Kitty. Batch purchases will mint multiple NFTs in one transaction, subject to remaining supply and transaction limits. Minting opens when the sale contract goes live.
Are Tuna Kitties replacing Kona Kitties?
Yes. Tuna Kitties are replacing Kona Kitties. Existing Kona Kitty holders will be able to claim their Tuna Kitty when claims open. Claim timing and instructions will be announced before launch.
Do I have to keep feeding my Kitty?
There is no max level. Feeding burns TUNA to grow Power, daily bonding capacity, and fee weight, with diminishing gains. Power does not decay over time, but your share of future Kitty fees can shrink as other owners feed. Keep feeding to compete; rewards already earned stay with your Kitty. Protocol utility begins after the TUNA protocol launches and requires activation on Robinhood. Buying an NFT does not automatically activate it or pay rewards.
What do I actually own?
You own the NFT. Its Power and unclaimed Kitty ETH stay with its token ID when it changes hands. This does not give you ownership of the protocol company or a withdrawal right to protocol reserves. PFP art licensing will be published with the final collection details.
